La Victoria

This long beach in front of the high-rises in new-town Cádiz is one of Spain’s nicer shores. Most wind directions are good, except Levante and northerly which are blocked by the buildings. In summer it’s mainly freeride and relaxed kite sessions. If it gets too crowded you’re better off at 'Cortadura', which is where you're supposed to kite anyway. But it's all change by the time winter arrives. Especially in south-westerly low-pressure winds, La Victoria, 'Buzo' and 'Cortadura' offer the biggest waves. There's a beach-break inshore here, plus a reef-break further out.
