Although hardly a classic spot, Llandudno's West Shore is very popular as it's such an easy place to launch at and ride. At low tide a sandbar produces a mirror-flat speedstrip and freestyle playground that's ideal in a west-south-westerly wind. As the tide floods it can deliver waves, especially after a few days of north-westerlies.
