Porto Pollo
Sardegna
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
Discovered in the late ’70s, this place on the northern tip of Costa Smeralda soon became one of Europe’s most popular freeride venues. Two large bays are divided by a narrow sandspit – onshore winds and chop on one side, mirror-flat water on the other . and the spit doesn’t interfere with the wind either. The Strait of Bonifacio forms a perfect wind-tunnel with amazing wind stats. All westerly and easterlies get strengthened, and Porto Pollo offers a suitable launch for every direction. 'Porto Liscia' is another option in the west of the bigger bay, accessible via the SS133.
