Between Enkhuizen and Lelystadt, the Houtribdijk separates the IJsselmeer from the Markermeer. Roughly mid-way along the dyke, there's parking at a yacht harbour and restaurant. Cross-on easterly wind lets you accelerate down the speedstrip behind the jetty before launching off the chop at the end. If you’re sick of catapulting at the shallow venues nearby, Trintelhafen's a great alternative as the water's much deeper!
