Just over the border into Castile and León, Pantano de Aguilar is a windsurfing alternative to the Ebro reservoir. Amidst beautiful natural scenery, the thermal blows very consistently in fine high summer weather, regularly reaching Force 4-5 north-easterly in the afternoon. South-westerly also blows in nicely, but about 1000m up it soon gets too cold outside of summer. The launch is over rocks on a beach below the pine trees of the 'Área Recreativa'.
