The diminutive Gooimeer is the southernmost finger of the IJsselmeer – or to be precise, the Markermeer. The best and most popular launch is the main beach of Almere Haven, where it's an easy life for windsurfers: easy access as parking is right on the dyke; an easy launch over a little sandy beach with no surprises in the water; and easy conditions – flat, occasionally choppy.
