As right down the coast between Cabo Finisterre and Northern Portugal, the prevailing high-pressure wind is thermally reinforced here in summer – it’s normally hot and sunny too. The waves are generally mid-sized, but they’re clean and good for frontside riding (with some shorebreak at high tide). This beach and lagoon at the foot of 'Monte Louro’ are picturesque, sometimes dolphins even visit. Winter south-westerlies deliver mountains of water that are even too much for hardcore riders.
