Western Jutland
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
This one’s right behind the dunes separating the fjord from the North Sea. Prevailing westerlies blow in almost unobstructed by land – they're offshore here so the water stays unruffled, while a 500m standing-depth area provides safety. It stays particularly flat in strong westerly winds, which push more water into the fjord. To avoid catapults, pay attention to a few shallow areas near the beach. Bump-&-jump’s on the menu in high pressure easterly winds. You’ll want for nothing on this fine sandy beach; there are showers, toilets and a snack-bar, plus you can rig-up on grass and there’s even a container to store your kit in.
