The beach of Porto de Bares is mostly a freestyle and slalom spot in offshore westerlies. In sunny summer weather, the wind accelerates around the headland. It’s a bit gusty close inshore, but you can cruise across azure waters with views of this lovely fishing village and Illa Coelleira.
