Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:

Flat water: Works in most wind directions though southerlies tend to get choppy. Best when tide height is between 4m and 10m.
Wave-sailing: Quite rare but with a large, long period swell and West/North-Westerly winds a soft clean wave can develop. Best in the 2nd quarter of a rising tide which can give some very long wave-rides. Falling tides tend to flatten the swell too much.
Tides: Tidal range can be over 11m, the water reaches the slipway at around 10m and anything higher than about 11m is pretty much un-sailable as the tide reaches the wall. When the tide is below 4m the beach flattens off and it can be more than 1km walk to the water.
