France’s westernmost spot works best at mid-tide – it's especially good for jumping in a bit of north-westerly swell. At high tide the wind's gusty close inshore, there's a huge shorebreak, and it can get too tight for kiting beneath the cliffs. The waves close out at low tide. Summer north-easterly thermals suit freeride.
