Brook Bay

Tucked away amidst unspoilt National Trust land, Brook Bay is a popular kiting venue. While its huge reef can hold a very big swell, more often it's a great intermediate wave spot. The primarily sandy seabed gets a little too rocky for windsurfing comfort towards low tide – and if the shorebreak gets a bit much towards high tide, head round to the western end of the bay for an easier launch. Altogether smoother, just up the road you can find the UK's largest collection of pearl jewellery at Isle of Wight Pearl.
