If you appreciate some room in the waves, try Bulbjerg. This stunning nature reserve offers similar conditions to 'Hanstholm', yet in more comfort: a sandy launch with waves wrapping cleanly around a reef. An inside tip is north-easterly wind, with slightly smaller yet really clean waves. Of course, it's also prone to the gnarly shorebreak and strong current typical of Denmark’s North Sea coast. Experienced riders only!
