After Santa Pola, this is plan B for Poniente winds – but for windsurfers only, as the bay’s too small for kiting. The strong westerly (often producing good chop for bump-&-jump) blows almost cross-shore, but is still gusty; drift downwind and your only exit’s over rocks at the end of the bay. The launch is over slippery rock slabs, just ankle-deep in places, before an abrupt step into deep water. It’s best to have a local show you round.
