Cabopino

Among the region’s highlights, Cabopino works out of season in both common wind directions. Ride to the right of the harbour in Levante, to the left in Poniente. Levante days are less common, but when it's too windy to even dream of going out in Tarifa clean waves break on the jetty and you can still be relaxed on a 4.5m sail here. Levante also sees kiters on the water. But this place shows its true colours in Poniente. The frontside surf can be amazingly good, while the cross-on wind is perfect for jumps. Conditions are demanding, plus palm trees on the beach and rocks in the east of the bay make kiting risky. If you’re looking for flat water, Poniente also offers freeride in the protection of the harbour-wall. In summer, the beaches firmly belong to sunbathers.
