Cabrera de Vilassar with its 'chiringuito' beach-bars is a popular off-season kiting spot. Right in front of Vilassar train station the beach is wide enough to launch a kite. Garbí blows cross-on, but weaker than in 'Badalona'. If you like, you can catch a train there or to 'Montgat' with your kite for a downwinder back to Vilassar. Strong currents and shorebreak make life hard in Levante.
