Cala Piscina

One of Sardinia's finest 'North Shore' breaks can easily top mast-high. Best in westerly winds; great for riding, less suited to jumps. There are cliffs everywhere, even in the impact zone – and there's only a tiny beach in the eastern end of the bay. No two ways about it: experts only! Be extra-careful at 'Bomba Point' to the right where even bigger waves break right onto rocks; the tiniest error and your kit will end up in pieces. Sadly, at the peak in the left part of the bay the windsurfers are showing some localism against kiters. At Bomba Point this issue disappears due to natural selection.
