Cala Tirant
Menorca
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
When Mistral or Tramontana blow northerly, Cala Tirant is the island's only working break. It gets huge if the wind blows for a few days, but looks far more dangerous than it is. The waves don’t break along their whole length, so it’s more like big swell than powerful surf, while an onshore wind will always blow you back to shore. Hence it’s a good venue for those first forays into big waves. If the wind blows the sunbathers away, you're also allowed here in summer for wonderful flat-water sessions.
