This place has a few different moods: it's a good Levante wave spot, and not a bad freeride location in southerly winds either. The summer thermal often backs from south-west to south-easterly through the day and regularly hits 20 knots – so choose your launch from the right or left of the breakwater, depending on wind direction, for either jump-ramps or flat water. In strong Levante it’s better to the right where the shorebreak is smaller and you can catch some rides. There's a windsurf and SUP school to the left. As at so many spots around here, kiting is banned during the summer holidays.
