The tallest, widest dunes in the Netherlands sit south of the asphalted 'Hondsbossche Zeewering' dyke. There are still stone breakwaters stretching out to sea though, and be careful not to lose ground in cross-onshore south-westerlies or you'll be forced onto the dyke. Otherwise, just relax and enjoy the endless sandy landscape.
