Campo di Mare

A popular venue with a great atmosphere. Rideable in almost all wind directions, north-west and south-easterlies deliver waves if they're strong enough. If it’s just a westerly summertime thermal, expect relaxed freeride. The beach equally suits windsurfing and kiting, since the over-zealous police don't normally patrol here. The local scene meets at 'Ocean’ beach-club, which offers everything from a shop and school to beach parties. Leave the motorway at the 'Cerenova Cerveteri’ exit, then drive down to the coast via Cerenova – Campo di Mare is next to the rivermouth. Further south, 'Ladispoli’ offers similar conditions.
