The break at 'Hot Pipes' is popular amongst local surfers, yet it's been kept a secret for windsports . until now! When there's swell a sandbank creates a decent, surfable wave off Shoreham Power Station's outfall pipe. Sailable for around 3 hours either side of high tide, the surfers tend to go in at mid-tide – this is 'their' spot, so do show them some respect.
