A popular little resort; but get away from the surfing and swimming zones and you’ll find there’s plenty of room on the water. As at most beaches along this coastline, a steady summer afternoon thermal backs off towards evening. The 10km downwinder to Lacanau is a nice trip. High tide means shorebreak, and it gets a little tight to launch a kite.
