Centre Nautique, Calvi

The citadel of Calvi looms over glistening white sandy beaches and turquoise water, while the Cinto Massif soars high in the background. Depending on wind direction, there’s a choice of four spots around the bay. 'Centre Nautique' by the marina offers the largest standing-depth area, and many locals launch from here. It's only an off-season option for kiting, as it's banned at all three city spots in high summer. While north-easterlies can deliver big swell into the bay, in Mistral or south-westerly Libecciu you’ll only find waves further out.
