The beaches at Cesenatico are also protected by breakwaters, although launching is possible north of them. At the 'Windsurf Club’ there's a 'corridoio' for kiters and about 50m of standing-depth water. Cesenatico is known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic”. A narrow channel flows through the wide sandy beach from a pretty harbour in the centre of town. But don’t be fooled: in summer, sun-worshippers and party animals dominate the scene here too.
