Chia

A dream location on the island's southern tip with a wide, white sandy beach. Perfect for waveriding and jumping in port tack Scirocco, but also great when strong south-westerly wind veers westerly – clean, tubing 2 to 3m waves with cross-off wind, although it is gusty! Chia also has a quieter side: without swell and in lighter winds, it offers perfect freeride conditions. In summer there's a westerly thermal and even some windsurf and kite schools. But be careful not to break anything in Mistral – the next landfall’s Tunisia!
