Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
Pevensey is renowned as one of the few South Coast spots that works in a north-easterly wind, albeit just gusty bump-&-jump. You’ll have to rig-up on a shingle beach at the central Pevensey Bay car-park, but then it’s not far to the water, even at low tide. The best wind is south-westerly, while southerly offers better waves over a sandbar towards low tide. Launch further east at 'Cooden’ in westerly winds – although there are no amenities, there’s always plenty of room on the water. Unfortunately, there's not so much space to leave your car since parking has been banned on the beach!
