Crossapol’s popularity is due to its large sandy beach, easy access, safety, and suitability for westerly winds. Conditions usually favour jumping, unless everything comes together for clean – sometimes logo-high – down-the-line riding. Just keep away from the wreck, which is buoyed and exposes below mid-tide.
