If you have time to kill while waiting for the ferry to Föhr or Amrum you can always catch a warm-up session here. Naturally, it does need some water though – and it's only flooded for six hours per tide. Maybe you could just watch the local hotshots instead, as they're genuinely high class. Big jumps or a loop at the entrance to the ferry dock are among their specialities. Another option is freeride in front of the colourful beach huts south of the harbour.
