Dale
Wales & Bristol Channel
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
It's no accident that the sheltered bay of Dale is home to West Wales Watersports. Just right for your first time on a windsurfing board, there's a shingle beach with sand at low tide and a pretty seafront, all overlooked by Dale Castle on the hill above. You can sail at all states of tide, although the price for the sheltered nature of the bay is often gusty winds. The best direction is NW which channels down through 'The Gann’ creating perfect flat-water conditions. East to south-easterly winds offer wavesailing newbies an unintimidating first stab at choppy conditions.
