To the north of Drogheda, south and north-easterly blow cross-shore to the beaches of 'Termonfeckin’ and 'Clogher Head’ – although there's also a hefty cross-shore rip. In decent south to south-easterly winds, waves don’t usually exceed logo-high (like much of the east coast) although mast-high is possible in big storms.
