East Wittering

While conditions are similar to West Wittering, at low to mid tide the waves are usually bigger at East Wittering and Bracklesham – plus the water's closer and the lack of amenities make it much less busy. Access to the beach is usually via 'Joliffe Road’ or 'Barn Walk’. Although primarily another top-class jumping location, there is some waveriding potential at 'Shore Road’ where you'll also find a well-stocked surf-shop. Kiters beware that there's only a small shingle beach with groynes at high tide.
