This freestyle and beginner venue is probably the Limfjord’s most popular launch. It's fairly exposed, so prevailing westerlies blow in well. The standing-depth area extends 800m out, beyond which it gets deep pretty quick – offering first-time wavesailors a bit of a work-out. Easterly winds are generally sailable, although you might find some shallow spots inshore. The mussel-reef about 1km north is particularly worth avoiding.
