El Estacio is the southern counterpart to 'Aldeas de Taray' in the north of the bay, and works especially well in strong Levante. A rocky reef protects the beach from any windswell, while outside the break offers decent ramps and the odd wave for a quick bottom turn. It’s too narrow to launch a kite on the headland – but you might get away with it in the middle of the beach, straight upwind of the hotel.
