Ellenbogenspitze, Sylt
Nordfriesische Inseln
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
In easterly winds the tip of the headland gets interesting for advanced riders. As easterlies blow the water onto the island, it's not as tide dependent as the bay. On ebb tide against wind you even get a helping hand to stay upwind. Westerly winds are positively dangerous though – if something goes wrong you'll soon drift off, and swimming against the strong currents in the channel is a battle you'll never win!
