This wide, sandy bay offers plenty of room on the water. It's another popular summer holiday resort; many visitors come for the excellent golf courses, as the population increases from what feels like 20 to nearer 2,000. It's mainly kiters at Enniscrone when the water's flat – but there can be waves too, as the bay is a magnet for N swell. Nice bars and cafés in summer.
