Exmouth Duck Pond
Devon & Cornwall
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
High tide creates a large shallow-water area called the 'Duck Pond’ on the Exe Estuary. While it works in any wind direction, easterlies blow gusty through town: it's best in summertime north-westerlies on an incoming tide. There’s a large car-park with amenities, grass to rig-up on, and very safe riding. The drawback being windsurfers can only sail a few hours around high tide, although kiters enjoy a larger range – even low water offers shallow channels further up the estuary.
