Fécamp
Normandie
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
The north-easterly summer thermal regularly hits 20 knots here, producing decent freeride conditions. But in a west-south-westerly, Fécamp turns into a radical wave spot. The slightly cross-offshore breeze means joy frontside waveriding sessions on a long, glassy reef-break. High water brings a violent shorebreak; the pebble beach does what it’s best at, so it’s wise to wait for tide to turn and launch at the southern end. (Remembering where the rocky boulders are!) It's the only legal kite launch in summer anyway.
