Fedderwardersiel

Fedderwardersiel is renowned for its colourful shrimp boat regattas and tug-of-war competitions in the mudflats – women included!But locals from the Butjadingen peninsular also like the place in easterly winds as it saves them a drive. You can ride for six hours around high tide between the deep water channel and marina. Rigging is from grass in front of the campsite, with a view of Bremerhaven container port. The kite zone is located a few hundered meters further southeast in front of the kite school. As kiting in the Wattenmeer is handled very sensitive please stick to the rules.
