To find the Fylde Coast's most popular venue, follow the A587 into Fleetwood until you hit a large roundabout. Take the third exit onto Beach Road, then turn right at the dunes onto the coastroad. After about half a mile you’ll see kites and flags, car-parking and changing rooms . and, of course, the beach! At its best on the top half of the tide, out on the water the standard of kiting is astonishingly high.
