Fraserburgh

Crystal-clear water and fine golden sand; undoubtedly the most beautiful bay around here lies east of the fishing port. Fraserburgh is proud of its surfing heritage – even the local taxi firm calls itself 'Surf City Cab’. There's also some lively nightlife on offer, at least at the weekend. But the main event is out on the water; score a westerly wind with NW swell and 'The Broch' rocks! In exchange, you’ll gladly put up with a bit of a walk from the car-park to the beach. Best waves on an incoming tide, and choose your launch wisely as conditions vary along the length of this huge bay.
