The surf-spot of Furadouro is framed by two breakwaters, yet it is suitable for kiting in both common wind directions. Besides powerful waves, south to south-westerly winter storms bring strong currents and a huge shorebreak at high tide. Not the most popular spot, so you could be alone on the water.
