Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
Flat water: Can work in most wind directions though North/North-Westerlies can be gusty especially around high tide. Westerly winds and tides below 3m can provide a flat water speed strip though care needs to be taken of rocks and the oyster farms to the South of the bay.
Wave-sailing: Strong North-Easterlies can pick up some waves that make for great jumping in the bottom half of the tide. High tides tend to be too gusty behind the harbour and castle.
Tides: Tidal range can be over 11m, the water reaches the slipway at around 8m.
