The landscape around Grabow is lovely and totally undeveloped, plus it never gets too busy on the water. East to south-easterly is the best wind, but south-westerly works too. Essentially, it’s your standard freeride venue with a twist: an offshore sandbank kicks up some jump-ramps. From the mainland, it’s best to take the little ferry from 'Stahlbrode’ over to 'Glewitz' on the peninsula.
