Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:

La Petite Mer, as the locals call it, is a kilometre-square patch of beach that becomes a shallow-water lagoon on the top half of the tide. Even when wind and swell are raging on the outside, it stays smooth in here. Windsurfers gather beneath the lighthouse, while kiters launch in front of the dunes at 'La Stèle'. If you didn’t know it was there, you'd hardly notice Europe’s biggest nuclear power station in the background! In north-easterly, launch from 'Grand-Fort-Philippe' on the other side of the rivermouth.
