Curving round into St Mary's Bay, north of the nuclear power station are five more hot spots: 'Dungeness’, 'Lydd-on-Sea’, 'Greatstone’, 'Littlestone’ and 'Dymchurch'. The seabed shelves gently offering good jumping on wild, confused waves. Again, it’s a bit of a walk at low tide, but the pay-off is some decent riding in a south-westerly.
