Groos is a safe place for every level of kiter and windsurfer since it has a standing-depth area, no current and little danger of drifting out to sea. The landscape might not be the most spectacular, but it's ideal for relaxed cruising. It works in a broad range of wind directions, yet offers enough shelter to bring the whole family along for a day at the beach too. The little offshore island with its red and yellow cabins creates a picture-perfect Scandinavian backdrop.
