Even before driving onto the island, options beckon either side of the B207. South-east of Grossenbrode you’ll find nice entry-level waves after 100m of standing-depth water in east to south-easterly wind. Absolutely flat water can be found in the bay protected by the breakwater (out of season only . when the Harbour Master’s not looking!)
