East of the little harbour, windsurfers find standing-depth flat water on the Wadden Sea within two hours of high tide. Mirror-flat in northerly winds, it's choppy in southerlies – sometimes with nice ramps for jumping. Generally risk-free, as long as you stay out of the ferry channel.
