Hel Seaside
Hel Peninsula
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
If the bay venues are too busy you could always switch to the Baltic Sea side. The beach is wider, yet hardly anyone rides here – and it's pretty obvious why: groynes in the water every 100m, no shallows, and dangerous prevailing offshore westerly winds. Meanwhile there are better wave conditions at 'Karwia' and 'Dębki' in Pomerania. Rare north-west to northerly winds might be worth it; although the locals head to the end of the peninsula south of 'Jurata', level with the town of Hel.
